A-Z: Build Your Faith With Alphabetical Bible Verses
This post is all about building your faith with a clear, A-Z framework, using Alphabetical Bible verses to anchor your day to Biblical truth.

Every day, the world seems to get more uncertain. You turn on the news, and it is something that you could not even make up! You see something on social media and question whether it is true.
What if you had a framework from A-Z, with Alphabetical Bible verses prepared, so you had a solid foundation to build on each day?
Could that help you with Scripture memorization so when something unexpected happens, like life, you have a verse already in your heart to stand on and lean into? Biblical truth. God's promises.
The good news is that the Lord left us the Holy Bible, God's Word. If you are exploring the Christian faith, I encourage you to do your research and stick with me.
If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and He is your Lord and Savior, when life gets uncertain, you may find yourself holding onto the Word of God even more.
How could alphabetical Bible verses be of value to you?
It creates a framework in which the letters of the alphabet are tied to a specific verse, a specific promise, and a specific truth you can return to when doubt creeps in or life gets heavy.
With alphabetical Bible verses as your guide, you build a mental library of verses that remind you that God's word is alive, active, and exactly what you need when life feels overwhelming.
Whether you're struggling with fear, doubt, or need a reminder that you're not alone, Scripture has the answer.
This is where faith begins, not in what you do, but in what He has already done.
Come with me and build your solid foundation of faith and stand on Alphabetical Bible verses.

I encourage you to lean into these promises each day so you can rest in Christ Jesus rather than in the uncertainty of this world.
A- Ask
Matthew 7:7 (NIV), “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
This verse is here ‘A' to remind you to ask and anchor yourself to the Lord. Go to the Lord in prayer with all things. Have Jesus be your partner in this life. Ask Him! Believe and have faith.
B- Be strong and courageous
Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV), Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
He is with you! His presence will become your source of strength.
C- Cast your anxiety on Him
1 Peter 5:7 (NIV), Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
You were not made to carry the burdens of this world. It acknowledges that anxiety is real. Your anxiety is not yours to carry.
A good way to remember that this verse lives in the “C” slot is because anxiety always tries to convince you it's yours to carry alone. It's not!
D- Do not be anxious about anything
Philippians 4:6 (NIV), Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
This is a follow-up on how to cast your anxiety.
Pray. Ask. Thank God.
Your situation may not change immediately, but you can have peace in the middle of it by giving it to the Lord. He will give you a perfect peace that surpasses all understanding.
The Lord is faithful.
He has not abandoned you in the past and will not abandon you now. He is with you in this. So, thank God in advance!
E- Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death

Psalm 23:4 (ESV), Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
The Lord is actively walking with you, defending you, and directing you through even the darkest valley. And the word through means this is not the end for you! You will get through this, and you will not be alone. God is with you.
F- For God so loved the world
John 3:16 (NIV), For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
This is a verse that nearly everyone has heard, even if you are not a believer. This verse anchors everything in Scripture.
God's love is so deep that He sent His Son! It sums everything up in a sentence.
God loves. He gave. You believe. You have eternal life with Jesus in Heaven!
Think about this. If God loves you SO MUCH that He gave His Son, He is not going to leave YOU for the big things or the small things! You are LOVED!
Jesus is the solution and eternal life is the result.
G- God is our refuge and strength
Psalm 46:1 (NIV), God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble
The Lord is your safe spot. Your strength will run out, but His will NOT. He is ALWAYS there. Go to Him.
H- He heals the brokenhearted
Psalm 147:3 (NIV), He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
The Lord is in the business of healing. God doesn't leave you shattered.
I am a testimony to this. My heart was shattered in a million pieces, and it was only because of the Lord that I was able to move forward and be whole again.
The letter ‘H' is for healing when emotional pain feels permanent.
I- I can do all things through Christ.

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV), I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
This verse got me through the toughest of times. I even had a ring I wore on my finger as a reminder.
You cannot do it on your own, but with Christ, YOU CAN do all things. You have access to the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead!
J- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV), Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The Lord is faithful! This verse is a good one to remember and anchor to when life feels uncertain. His character, His promises, and His power will not change!
K- Keep your heart with all diligence
Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV), Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
Everything in life needs maintenance: your home, car, yard, garden, and so on. This is simply maintenance for Christian living. Everything flows from your heart, so protect it, guard it, and keep it safe, as if your life depends on it!
L- Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:8 (NIV), Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
Matthew 22:27 (NIV), Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
I included two verses on the letter ‘L'. We are called to Love.
Love is a command. God does not want only a portion of your heart and your love. He wants you to love Him completely. This is not a choice; it is a daily decision.
Love God and love people.
We are called to love, and it never fails!
M- My grace is sufficient for you
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV), But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Grace is God's supernatural ability working in you to do what you can't do on your own.
When you are weak, or underqualified, and you succeed, that is God! He shows up and shows off for the glory of God.
N-“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5 (NIV), Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
The Lord cannot make this any clearer. NEVER is used twice in one sentence!
As we saw in the letter ‘B', it is mentioned. Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
It is a foundational verse in both the Old and New Testament.
In your loneliest season, He's there. In your biggest failure, He's there. In the valley, the darkness, the confusion, He's there. You're never navigating life alone, even when it feels like it.
O- O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good.
Psalm 107:1 (KJV), O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: For his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 107:1 (NIV), Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Just give thanks because God is good! This is not hinged on your circumstances; it is because of His character, His faithfulness, and His provision. It is a declaration of truth.
If you are in a hard season, give thanks because of the goodness of God and His love. His mercy is always constant.
P- Peace I leave with you

John 14:27 (NIV), Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jesus spoke this before he was crucified. This matters because He was about to be arrested, beaten, and crucified on the cross. It was then He promised peace.
Have you ever been in the middle of chaos and have peace? That is peace from the Lord. Not what this world gives. It is a perfect peace that does not make sense, a peace you can not explain. Peace in the chaos is a peace that surpasses all understanding. When you feel it, you recognize it and will never forget that kind of peace.
This is a peace you chose to receive when you invite Jesus into your heart. Don't let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid.
When you are in chaos, reach for the peace Jesus has already given you.
Q- Quench not the Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:19 (KJV), Quench not the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is a gift from God.
Protect it, guard it, and do not suppress God's Spirit inside of you.
R- Rejoice in the Lord always.
Philippians 4:4 (NIV), Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
This was written by Paul from prison.
Rejoicing is not the same as happiness.
Happiness depends on circumstances.
Joy is rooted in who God is, not what's happening around you. You can have zero reasons to be happy and still choose joy because God's character hasn't changed.
When I walked through a devastating season, one of my friends would say to me, “You have the joy of the Lord.” I had no idea what she was talking about. I had not experienced that before, and all I knew was I was broken, devastated, and my heart was shattered.
Joy was not something I understood until I experienced it.
I kept seeking the Lord and crying out to Him, trying to understand why this was happening.
As my faith grew and my relationship with the Lord deepened, I experienced joy.
The most difficult time in my life changed me. I believe it made an eternal difference in my life.
Now, I have a joy in my heart that no man can ever take away, and that joy comes from Christ alone.
S- Seek the Kingdom of God above all else
Matthew 6:33 (NLT), Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
When you seek the Lord and make the Lord your priority, He will take care of you.
Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV), You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Keep seeking the Lord with your whole heart, and He will give you everything you need.
I am a living testimony to this.
When I was a single mom, many days I struggled in every way. It was tough.
I had buckets of tears crying out to God for help, direction, guidance, strength, and over and over He would provide and direct my steps.
My faith continued to grow.
God is soooo good. Trust Him and have faith!
T- Trust in the Lord with all your heart

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV), Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
I would pray this verse over and over to help me when I fall short in trusting the Lord. I knew I could not do it on my own. I needed the Lord, and I needed to trust Him.
Again, I am a testimony and living proof of it. When I walked through hard seasons and created this website out of obedience, even though I had no idea how to even begin. The Holy Spirit would direct my steps.
Keep seeking the Lord and trust Him. The Holy Spirit will give you just enough light for your next step. Have faith, my friend.
U- Unto You I lift up my eyes
Psalm 123:1 (NKJV), Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens.
Keep your eyes on Jesus!
V- Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.
John 6:47 (NIV), Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.
Have you ever heard that heaven and hell are inches apart? You must believe with your heart. Believing and having faith are not the same as head knowledge.
You must believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, was crucified, and rose from the dead. Jesus is the only way. There is no other way to have everlasting life with Christ.
W- Wait on the Lord
Psalm 27:14 (NKJV), Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
To wait does not mean to sit around; it means to trust in the Lord, to continue to obey, to continue to hope while God works behind the scenes.
This can be hard at times, but if you feel like the Lord is silent, keep trusting, keep obeying, and keep your eyes on Jesus, because you are doing just what you need to do until it is clear to do something different.
God is seldom early, never late, but always on time.
Our timing is not the Lord's…so wait, because He has good plans for you!
X- eXamine Yourself
2 Corinthians 13:5 (NLT), Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.
I know this doesn't start with X, but it is a great verse to remember the letter X!
Paul was speaking here and urging honest self-assessment.
So, is what you believe in your heart aligned with Scripture? Or do you pick and choose, skipping the hard parts?
We are told to examine ourselves to see if our faith is genuine.
Put your faith to the test against the evidence.

Do you produce the fruit of the Spirit? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Is there transformation?
Is Jesus Lord in your life?
Or is it a Sunday event?
It is not about good works; it is about a relationship.
If you are not sure if you are a citizen of heaven and will have eternal life today if you were to pass away, then please do not wait. Open your heart and invite Jesus to be Lord of your life.
It is the best life you will ever have! God is good, and you are loved beyond comprehension!
Y- You are the light of the world

Matthew 5:14 (NIV), “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Light can not be hidden in darkness. Let your light shine today for Jesus!
Z- Zion hears and rejoices
Psalm 97:8 (NIV), Zion hears and rejoices and the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments, Lord.
The Lord will have the final say and ultimate justice. A time of celebration!
Be intentional and seek Holiness each day.

A prayer for you.
Heavenly Father, I come to you today with a thankful heart. Thank you for always being there and never leaving me. Help me, Lord, when I fall short of trusting you. Your promises are clear in Your Word, and I want to stand on them today and rest in them every day. You have shown me that You are faithful, and I am thankful for You. Your grace is sufficient. You have called me to love You with all my heart. Help me love fiercely as You do, so that when people see me, they see Your love through me. Thank you for being my safe place to run to and be with, not just in times of trouble, but at all times. I want to rest only in You. Guide me today, Lord, as I walk with You and show me the path. Help me to keep Your Word in my heart and replace this world's lies with Your truth. Thank you for loving me and forgiving me. Thank you for being Lord of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
If you have never invited Jesus into your heart, He is waiting to have a relationship with YOU!
To invite Jesus into your heart, your life need not be perfect.
If your life is messy, come as you are.
He created you and already knows everything about you and STILL LOVES YOU!
The Lord already paid the price for your sins on the cross, and He wants a personal relationship with you.
If you are wondering how you could have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, He is waiting for you.
It is simple.
You talk to Him about the little things and the big things in your life.
This is prayer.
It is an intimate personal relationship. Just you and the Lord.
A salvation prayer for you to invite Him into your heart.
Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you as I am, and I want you to be my Lord and Savior. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and shed your blood for me. Please, Lord, forgive me of my sins. I want to live my life for you. I believe you were crucified, rose from the grave, ascended to heaven, and left the Holy Spirit to live with me. Thank you for preparing a place for me to have eternal life. Help me trust you when I fall short. Lord, help guide my steps in my new life with You. Thank you for loving me and forgiving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
If you just prayed and invited Jesus to live in your heart, welcome to the Kingdom of God!

Music is powerful.
Music can speak to you in many ways. It can take you back to a specific time in your life, encourage you, or even make you feel sad. But music is powerful and is a way of worship. We listen to K-Love radio in our home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It continually points us back to Jesus. It is encouraging and has been life-changing for my family and me. I encourage you to turn it on and see how it will change your day.
