I am so happy you are here!!

Just because my blog is FAITH CRUSHES FEAR does not mean I do not struggle. I am just like you. Fear can consume every part of your mind. Fear is a human emotion, but God does not give us a spirit of fear. I have learned through my experiences that the Lord wants us to respond to fear by seeking Him first and having faith in Him. I know He is with me and when I seek Him, it is ‘When the Lord Carries Me.'

I grew up in church. I knew who God was, but it wasn't until I was broken and at the bottom of the pit that I really knew who Jesus is. He is my friend, my comforter, my peace, my joy, my provider, my shelter, my Lord. I can not imagine life without Him. I want that for you! I have learned that FAITH CRUSHES FEAR by believing and keeping your eyes on the hope and love of Jesus.

I pray that my story, my testimony, can give you some insight on how to get back up when life knocks you down. I am excited to go on this journey together! Lets make an eternal impact and make heaven crowded!!

How it all started

My life has been a journey, like yours. We all have a story. I am in my mid-50s, and I was unsure what my next step in life was. I prayed, and I prayed for clarity.

One night, I woke up, and things seemed super clear. I was to create a blog, a space to add value to others in life's hard seasons—a place I wish I had when I found myself in those seasons. A platform to help others navigate life and share what I have learned.

I thought, God really has a sense of humor because I am not tech-savvy and know nothing about creating a website or blogging!

During this journey of building this website, the Lord has given me just enough light to know my next step. He has guided and directed me every step of the way.

I have researched over the past year, and with the Holy Spirit's guidance, I created this website. This is my testimony.

Based on my personal experience, Jesus carried me through seasons of life. Fear of being a single mom after the man I loved beyond words left me and my kids for a gay lifestyle. Fear of failure. Fear of not being enough. Fear of dating again. Fear of being alone. Financial fear. Fear of a blended family. Fear of adult children with drug addiction and the phone ringing, not knowing what has happened. Fear of adult children not being safe. Fear of an uncertain future. Fear of not having restoration from sexual abuse. The list can go on like many of your life stories.

My difficult times in life led me to have a ‘relationship' with the Lord and not just go through the motions of a Christian life. BUT, I am thankful because it has made an eternal difference in my life. Although, I would not want to walk through those seasons again, I look back and realize Jesus was right there beside me, walking through the fire with me and often times carrying me.

I want everyone to know that even though you may feel alone in a situation you are not alone! Jeremiah 29:13 (ESV) reads, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Like you, I sometimes searched for others going through similar situations, and often, I could not find much. Even though each story is different, I just needed some insight.

My prayer is that you will have a helpful and valuable take-a-way from each post that I share with a positive impact on your life. It can help guide you in the unfamiliar territory you may be walking through.

In January 2024, I realized I was to create a space for others walking through difficult seasons in life that I wished I had during those tough times. The name FAITH CRUSHES FEAR was so clear to me. So, the research began. In 2025, I began to build this website.

The images on this website are all personal pictures that are the property of FAITH CRUSHES FEAR. Unless there is written permission, no photos are to be reproduced.

When you study religions, the Christian religion is the only one with a living and relational God. It is the only one that has historical evidence.

The Holy Bible is the living, breathing word of God. It has integrity and speaks the truth. It is the only book that prophesies, predicts, and fulfills future events.

The Christian faith is the only one that believes that God has sent His Son into this world to save the world. His name is Jesus Christ. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a perfect and blameless life, was crucified on a cross, and three days later rose from the grave. He ascended to heaven and promised to come back again. He sent the Holy Spirit to take his place until His return.

The Bible predicted all of these events and has multiple historical accounts of His birth, life, death, and conquering the grave. The Holy Bible has held truth and integrity from the beginning of time, and it will continue as we wait for HIS return!

In all other religions, you perform works or go through steps. They are not relational. All other gods are unreachable. Other religions require a person to work their way toward divinity. People who have other religions seem to always be searching for God and never being satisfied.

God and His Word are faithful. He alone has done this for us and does not require us to follow steps. He is there chasing after us. He is perfect and Holy.

A person of the Christian faith who believes that Jesus is the Son of God has a joy that no man can take away, a peace that can not be explained, and hope. All He asks is for us to have FAITH and BELIEVE!

If you are in doubt, my challenge to you is to go investigate, examine the Bible, read, and do your research.

From what I have experienced, at times life can be really hard. Do you want to go through life searching and feeling empty or being filled with the One who created you!? I myself, choose Jesus!

Becoming a Christian is simple! The best part is that it doesn't matter what your past is, where you are from, or if your life is messy. As humans, we all sin. All you have to do is believe, pray, and ask Jesus into your heart!

If you do believe and want to become a Christian. Here is a simple prayer to invite Jesus into your heart:

Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe that you came to earth, were crucified for me, conquered death, and rose from the grave three days later. I believe you are preparing a place for me in heaven, and You will come again. I invite you into my heart to live and dwell with me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for forgiving me. Thank you for being my Lord and Savior! Amen

I am so excited for you! You just made a life-changing decision!! Continue to seek Him! Talk to Him. He is your friend. He wants a personal relationship with you! He promises in Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV), “For he himself said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

God sent His Son into this world and was crucified to take our sins away and make a way for us to have eternal life. John 3:16,17 (NIV) reads, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Christian products often have simple but powerful messages on them. They are sweet reminders to shift your focus on truths, not this world's lies.

Christian products are also powerful ways to be a silent witness to others and share your faith without having to use your words. A Christian product could plant a seed for someone. It can be an invitation for someone to reach out and talk to you if they have questions. By the way, don't be afraid of the questions. All you have to do is share your story, and God will take care of the rest!
