Do You Feel Alone? 29 Powerful Bible Verses About Loneliness
This post is powerful Bible Verses about loneliness and God's truth. If you are feeling lonely today, then this is for you. Our stories are all different. Let's look together at what God's word says about loneliness.
Today could be your turning point, and you can begin to look up.

Loneliness can be from many different reasons.
A broken heart, a life change, your kids leaving home, a death, or maybe you are surrounded by people in a crowded room, but feel very alone.
It could be from scrolling on social media, and it appears that everyone around you has this perfect life, with lots of friends and ideal relationships, living the life you thought you would have.
Whatever the situation is for you, the result is the same. You feel alone.
When you feel lonely, you basically have two choices.
You can stay in this season of loneliness, or you can take action.
Use it to empower you to become better and transform you into who you want to become.
Take this time to spend it with the Lord, watch your relationship grow, and stand on the promises of God.
The decision is yours. It does require you to be intentional and make a mind shift.
Our stories are all different.

When I walked through this season, I felt alone because I couldn’t share what was really going on with the people around me. Then I felt alone because the man I had loved since I was a teenager made a life change. I was in my mid-thirties when I suddenly became a single mom with three kids who depended on me. The reality was that I had my kids and family, whom I loved beyond words, right by my side, but I still felt alone. My heart was shattered into a million pieces.
My mind was my worst enemy.
It wasn’t until I became intentional.
I had three innocent kids who watched me daily. I knew that actions spoke louder than words. I had to make a mental shift and stand on the truth. I began to seek even more with my whole heart, the Lord. I would have heart-wrenching sobs, praying from the depths of my soul when I was alone, asking the Lord, Why me? Where are you, God?
I began to develop a real-life changing personal relationship with Jesus. I realized He truly was the God of all comfort. I experienced the love of God and the Holy Spirit in a way that I had heard people talk about. It was a real relationship with Jesus, something foreign to me, even though I had grown up in church. What I felt was joy and love that human relationships can not give.
I thought if the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me, with God’s help, I can do this. I can and will get through this time in my life. My feelings of being alone, my heart shattered, and this life change was not going to steal my days, and I would stand on God’s promises. I became driven, stronger, and felt more empowered than I had ever been.
I had a ring with this verse inscribed on it, Philippians 4:13 (NKJV), “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
This ring was a constant reminder that I was not alone! I would pray each day before my feet hit the floor. I became intentional with every action.
I learned during this season that the Lord was with me all along. I was not alone, and His goodness was all around me if I would look. This is “When the Lord Carried Me.” This season in my life became my testimony.

The loneliness you are experiencing could be your darkest valley that you have walked through. I know it’s a hard season, and it’s a difficult time.
My friend, I pray you feel God’s presence. The love of Christ is real. There is a greater love than you can ever imagine, and it is from our Heavenly Father. He is a loving God who loves you so much. He came to live a life here on earth for you and me. The Son of God, whose name is Jesus, who lived a blameless life, was crucified and rose again three days later.
There is good news. He gave us the living, breathing word of God, the Holy Bible. God’s word is powerful. With his righteous right hand, he reaches down to you and will pick you up. The right hand of God is there for you to pull you up out of the pit of loneliness, the pit of destruction.
He also left the Holy Spirit, and when you allow Him into your heart, you will experience God’s love, an unending love that has eternal power and a constant presence.
The best way to overcome the feelings of loneliness is to stand on God’s word and God’s promises.

Soak in these truths. Screenshot them, write them out, and put them on your mirror, in your car, around your house, and claim them for your life today!
I challenge you to pick out a couple of them and memorize them. Keep them in your heart. Be reminded of God’s faithfulness and speak truth over your life.
